A lawn that stays perfect. Without the weekly truck.
Quiet, autonomous robotic mowers, guided by AI and monitored by our crew — trimming a little every day so your lawn never grows out, never looks shaggy, and never hears a gas engine again. One flat monthly rate. No contracts with surprise fees.
What AI robotic mowing looks like with Ponderosa
Traditional weekly mowing removes up to a third of the blade at once, stresses the plant, leaves clippings that clump, and forces you to listen to a 95-decibel mower for 30 minutes while the crew works. Autonomous mowers flip that math — they clip a millimeter or two every day, returning the finest clippings as free fertilizer, staying well under the noise floor of a normal conversation.
We pair next-generation robotic mowers (boundary-free, GPS-RTK navigated, with AI obstacle detection) with a Ponderosa-managed service tier: we install it, we program it, we blade-swap it, we troubleshoot it, and we watch it remotely. You get the manicured look of a private estate seven days a week for roughly the cost of twice-monthly traditional mowing. No gas, no fumes, no Saturday morning wake-up call.
What every AI robotic mowing job includes.
No hidden line-items. If it isn't in your estimate, we tell you before we do it — not after.
- AI-guided robotic mower sized to your lawn (up to 1.25 acres per unit)
- GPS-RTK boundary mapping — no buried wire to bury, cut, or repair
- Daily micro-clipping: fractional cuts return nitrogen to the lawn, no bagging
- Remote monitoring — our dashboard flags stuck mowers, low battery, or missed zones
- Monthly on-site visit: blade swap, deck clean, edge/trim where the robot can't reach
- String-trimming and hard-surface edging once per week (what the robot can't do)
- Weatherproof charging dock installed discreetly near an outdoor outlet
- AI obstacle detection: pets, kids, toys, hoses, garden features — all avoided
- Noise under 62 dB at 3 ft (quieter than a running dishwasher)
- Spring activation and fall winterization of the unit
- Software and firmware updates handled by us, over-the-air
- Full warranty coverage on the unit while you're a subscriber
How we get there.
The same 5-step rhythm on every AI robotic mowing project we take on.
-
01
Property scan
We walk your lot with a GPS-RTK device, map the mowing boundary, no-go zones (beds, pool surround, play areas), and identify the best dock location. 45-minute appointment.
-
02
Unit sizing & install
We match the mower to your square footage and slope (our fleet handles grades up to 25°), mount the dock, run the low-voltage feed, and commission the AI boundary. Typical install is 2–3 hours.
-
03
AI training week
First 5–7 days the unit learns your lawn's edges, rhythms, and obstacles. You'll see coverage patterns improve daily in the app. We fine-tune remotely.
-
04
Daily autonomy
The mower runs on its own schedule — typically 2–4 short sessions per day during growing season, zero in winter. Clippings vanish back into the lawn. You get a daily coverage heatmap.
-
05
Monthly human touch
Once a month we show up for the things no robot does well: fresh blades, string-trim around fences and obstacles, deck clean, edge the driveway and walks, photo summary. In and out in 20 minutes with battery-powered equipment.
Honest numbers before you sign.
These are the ranges we see on most Colorado Springs projects. Your written estimate will be precise, line-item, and valid for 30 days.
| Scope | Typical | What's in it |
|---|---|---|
| Small lawns (<¼ acre) | $189 / month | Covers unit, service, monthly visit, monitoring |
| Mid lawns (¼ – ½ acre) | $239 / month | Most Briargate, Broadmoor, Stetson Hills |
| Large lawns (½ – 1 acre) | $319 / month | May require 2 charging docks |
| Acreage (1 – 2+ acres) | from $429 / month | Dual-unit system, custom site plan |
| Install fee (standard) | $450 one-time | Waived for founding-member early access signups |
| Founding-member lock | Price frozen for life | First 50 Colorado Springs households only |

Questions we get a lot.
If you don't see your question, give us a call or send a note. Most emails get answered the same business day.
Is this replacing the crew that shows up every week?
Yes — and we think you'll love it. The robotic mower handles the mowing itself, so we don't need to run a crew and loud equipment across your yard every Tuesday. You still see us once a month for the parts a robot can't do (edging, trimming, blade swap), and we're watching the unit remotely every day in between.
How quiet is it, really?
Under 62 decibels at three feet. For reference, a normal conversation is about 60 dB, a dishwasher around 70 dB, and a gas mower 90–100 dB. You can sit on your patio while it runs and not raise your voice. Your neighbors won't know it's on.
Can it run while my kids or dogs are on the lawn?
Technically yes — AI obstacle detection stops the blade when it sees a body shape and reroutes. In practice we program a quiet window (for example, 10 am to 3 pm) when the family's usually out, and overnight hours if your HOA allows. You can also pause it from the app with one tap.
What about snow, rain, and Colorado hail?
The unit is rated IPX6 (driving rain is fine). It auto-docks when sensors detect heavy rain or hail, and it hibernates in the dock all winter. We pick it up, store it inside, and redeploy in April — included in your subscription.
What if it gets stuck or breaks?
Our dashboard pings us the moment a unit stops reporting, loses GPS lock, or gets stuck on terrain. In most cases we resolve it remotely. If a truck roll is needed, it's included — no service-call fee, no per-incident charge.
Do I own the mower or rent it?
You subscribe — we own and maintain the unit. That means blade swaps, firmware updates, battery replacements, and any hardware failure are our problem, not yours. If you cancel, we pick up the unit. No purchase price, no depreciation, no resale hassle.
Does it mow to the edge?
Within about 2–3 inches of a fixed edge. String-trimming and hard-surface edging is what our monthly on-site visit handles. Between visits, the lawn looks tidy enough that nobody notices — we promise.
Is this available everywhere in Colorado Springs?
We're launching in phases starting summer 2026. Phase 1 covers Briargate, Old North End, Broadmoor, and central Colorado Springs. Phase 2 adds Monument, Black Forest, Falcon. Early-access signups get priority regardless of zip code.
